Transition Tunbridge Wells

The purpose of a Transport Group is to take actions, such as promoting cycling and car-share schemes, to enhance substantially the sustainability of transport in the Tunbridge Wells area:

Increasing the use of sustainable approaches such as walking, cycling and public transport.

Reducing the use of unsustainable approaches such as motorised vehicles.

We are looking for a person who would like to take on the role of Co-ordinator for the Transport group - please e-mail us if you feel you could start a Transport group.

Peak Oil is going to affect all aspects of transportation in the future. Damien Cominos, a paramedic, has written a report (downloadable below) which outlines the possible impact of future energy shortages on the Ambulance Service.
