Transition Tunbridge Wells

Last year, as part of Tunbridge Wells in Bloom 2010 we planted up the quadrant flower bed outside Tunbridge Wells Library with a range of fruiting plants, vegetable plants and edible and flowers to show how attractive these can be.

The inspirational design was developed by Susan Walker and centred on an old reclaimed oil drum to symbolise the end of cheap oil.

After a break of a few months, the bed has now been re-planted with Sue's new Winter/Spring design, featuring logs for wildlife to colonise and plants with interesting coloured stems or evergreen leaves.
