We are happy to support a new group in Tunbridge Wells called Hubs and Spokes. They are local parents and residents and have ambitious, but achievable, plans for 15 miles of safe cycle routes in and around Tunbridge Wells. While initially intended to increase the number of children cycling to school, this will be a fantastic boost for cyclists of all ages - creating safe ways to get into town.

The first part of the project is to provide a safe cycle route linking Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Girls with the other secondary schools on/near St John's Road.

The second larger part is to obtain funding from Sustrans to enable the 15 miles of paths to be created/upgraded. They have already presented their plans to the Town Forum and a meeting of local parents hosted at Tunbridge Grammar School for Boys.

We will have more information soon. In the meantime, if you want to get involved, contact us via e-mail and we will put you in touch with the Hubs and Spokes team.
